I have just looked on the Le Mans 'Official Website'. The pdf ticket brochure states that the deadline for ordering tickets is Monday 08 May.

 

Can anyone help with the following:

 

1. Is this the case or can you pick up a general admision ticket from the 'Welcome Area' when you arrive at Le Mans?

 

2. Do they do discounted tickets for students - having ID card etc.?

 

3. It also appears that if you buy a block of twenty tickets you get a discount, 53 compaired to 60 Euros, if this is the case can we get tickets through the club?

Yes general admision tickets available at the track

Not as far as I am aware

No we have enough of a problem getting camping tickets

I have just e:mailed the A.C.O. Ticket office again to chase delivery of our tickets. The response to my last enquiry on 21st April was -

 

"The orders which have been paid, (tickets and sending costs) will be sent by UPS mail from April to May together with the settled invoice at the following address ........"

 

They dont believe in rushing do they - they have had the money since January !! The tickets have not been this late before, but those with more Le Mans experience than me assure me not to worry just yet.

 

They have at least confirmed the Camp Area as being 'Aire Accueil Bleu Nord'

Well, the ticket office response came quicker than the tickets - this is what their reply says

 

Dear Sir,

 

You shoud get them withing 2 weeks.

Hi to all going to Le Mans, there seem to be a lot going over on the 14th, fancy meeting up at Rouen, Minty tin top (he has satnav) and I 2b(I should have my cb working by then) are staying there over night 13/14th, might be nice to convoy down to the event.

there is at least 6 of us stopping in La Mans on the 14th

we are all stoping at the b+b Hotel this is on the south side of the river near

Parc Expo on the N138 the road is called Avenue des Canadiens.

i think Geoff also has a Cb
