Cleaning Masking Tape Off Of Stainless

Must confess i never got round to a second attempt, been busy with "the workshop project" until now. just found a tub of Halfords bug and tar remover wipes, do you think there safe to use on stainless?

Previous owner/builder of my 2B masking taped the steering wheel as well. Any thoughts on the above methods being used on steering wheel?

Could give the bug and tar wipes a go as neat petrol/white spirits etc could affect the vinyl

I know it feels like its taken ages to get the masking tape off and i really shouldnt of left it on there so long in the first place! However in my defence in these last twelve days i havent touched the car but i have managed to re render my workshop, lay a cement floor, rewire it and insulate the roof so not done too badly. Now its all done i can make more progress on the kitcar than removing some masking tape in twelve days

ok i admit it took the mick but "if a jobs worth doing its worth doing properly"!!!! 12 days for a perfect finish, better than these 5 minute jobs
