That is a interesting theory. The original starter did not conk but was lazy. This is obviously down to timing “Thanks for the advise Ray”. Will see what it dose tomorrow when fitted1 point

I bought a cheap pressure sprayer and attached flexible tubing to the end of the lance. Put the oil in the sprayer, pressurise it, bung the flexible tubing into the gearbox filler hole from under the car and then control the flow of oil with trigger. Job done.1 point
