+1 for the above. The clicking is the gear coming out of the starter motor to engage with the flywheel but if you're not getting any cranking, that is either a dead solenoid or dodgy wiring/earth.1 point

Possibly a dodgy solenoid although being part of the starter it should have been tested when the motor was reconditioned. My money would be on a loose lead to the starter or a poor engine earth1 point
