If it helps I have ordered one from him and is currently being made up and he is very willing to answer questions and there has been lots of communication right from the get go. Even though I haven't received it yet (Christmas got in the way), I have been very pleased with what he is telling me and has always asked a question of what I wanted to do with stuff if he wasn't to sure what I wanted to do with it

Managed to get one for 90 quid from Manchester auto electricals and they even changed the pully wheel for me

Finally got it off and it's the genuine Rover one made by magnetti marelli. The part number is YLE10128. It was a pain in the back (figuratively and literally) to get off and out. Now to try and track one down or try and get repaired

Does anyone know what they are from if I need a new one. Ordered a rover 200 one but it ain't that one. I do have a local auto electricians so may take it there and get it tested first (if I can get it off, as there is no room and a rounded bolt )

Etb instruments have recommended a new one as it has blown 2 of their dials twice

I think I need a new alternator as I have bust two sets of Speedo and tachometer. Question are there any aftermarket ones that are smaller and lighter that will do the job or does it need to be the OEM style

They still do the 7 style modular looms on their website. Will drop them a line though

As the title suggests I'm looking at getting a new loom for the SuperSpec to get rid of the birds nest under the dash and sort out some electrical gremlins. What do people think of these 2 and which would be the best or easiest to fit in.

Hi guys what do you need to do to switch from the mechanical pump to an electric pump as I have the rover t series engine. Do you have to get a shorter belt or does it stay the same

Okay. I can't find the reason as to their being no power supplied to the fuel pump as tried a working relay on the relay which had the black and purple wire supplying it and still got nothing at pin 30. On a stranger note my fuel gauge will only go from 3/4 to full (it previously did 1/2 to full). What could be causing this as I know I have full movement from the float

Is pin 1 bottom left or top left on the fuel pump as mine is covered in glue as it looks like someone decided it would be a good idea to use a hot glue gun on the connection

So if I'm reading this right it could be a relay that could have gone and that would potentially cause my issue

I'm sensing a rewire coming on attached his rate as wiring just keeps going haywire and things keep stopping haha And I didn't realise the ECU controlled the pump I thought it was done by a 12v feed then it switched from inside a relay but will definitely investigate why I'm not getting a feed from ECU then

Hi guys where do the wires go to and from on the SuperSpec standard fuel tank. I have green, red and two black. Mine came off and can't figure out from the mess under the dash and having bought it built have no prior knowledge of this part. Also, should the fuel pump constantly pump when attached to a live?

When I replaced mine it was for an old transit. The surround needed some work but never came off and is so secure I still haven't taken it off even after moving to a new dash which uses bolt heads. I didn't even need the angle adapter as it managed to have a nice radius bend

At first it was a minor loss. But gave it a run today to work as tried securing the fuel pump connectors better but it started to splutter. Managed getting to work but now it just won't start

I just checked the fuel tank and the metal ring wasn't fully secure it had only been tapped just in. Could this be a probable cause

Which way would be the best way to have the wiper arms park and how long do the wipers need to be when cut down as im about to start fitting my wipers this week. I have the lucas mini wiper system with the wheelboxes.
