  1. Morning Yeah I had to cut the back end of the bell housing too and put a plate on it. Graham
  2. Morning mate I had an oil leak from the diff so I have had to take out the diff and change the prop input seal. I was just thinking about whether I needed the CAT on. I have seen lots of pics with Zetec's without CAT's on. Have you got disc's on the back of yours? Graham
  3. Cheers Josh..nice to get a simple answer.
  4. Can someone please give me the correct info on whether the Zetec Zero needs a CAT. I keep getting conflicting information. I am running the standard injectors using GBS's plenum with a LC1 wideband Lambda. I have seen pics of other peeps cars with a lambda but no cat. Ta Graham
  5. Cheers guys, the alternator is a Bosch one with 2 threaded bolts. I think it's B+ and D+. Graham

  15. Cheers Mega I suppose it boils down to if you have the confidence to do it yourself. Like you say if you can build a car you can do a few forms. I think I might do it myself mate Cheers Graham

Afternoon all Can you use tie wraps on CV gaiters or do you have to use stainless ones? Graham
  17. Cheers guys I think I know what I'll be doing Graham
  18. Good afternoon all. Going to sort out my IVA and registration soon. Not sure whether to do it myself or get Paul Jepson to do it all for me. I think he charges £45. Any thoughts? Graham
  19. Just found it Ignore the gear crunch, the clutch needs adjusting
  20. He charged me £312 and that included a £42 MAP sensor. After he put on the correct sensor (I had a 3bar one and needed 1bar) he started tuning the ecu. The car would only do about 75mph before the fuel figures dropped off. At that point it was 130bhp (flywheel) but he did say theres lots to come after I have sorted it out. My nephew has put a vid on You Tube but I cant find it. I'll ask him and put the link on. Gray
  21. God does he know his stuff.....I dont think I would take it anywhere eise. Its worth a trip over just to see his drag cars. His 2200bhp Audi is awesome. Gray
  22. Well what a day. First of all John Sleath is a legend. Such a nice guy and knows exactly what he's talking about. We put the car on the rollers and it wouldn't rev which is the problem I have been having. Turned out I had the wrong MAP sensor on it, too high a bar. After installing the right one the car started to sound like it should. He has sorted the ECU but there is a problem with the fuel pressure after about 60mph. He thinks it is a dirty filter or the pump has gone. I doute its the pump as it is a new one. I'm pretty sure its the filter.... specially after the problems I have been having with my tank (long story). It was great to meet Femster today...ta for the coffee and doughnuts. I'll keep you all in formed in the coming week on how its going. Graham
  23. Ta for the offer....I have drained the tank to half full as it leaks from the top then I will get it welded next week. See you tomorrow Gray
  24. Look forward to meeting you tomorrow, although I now have a fuel leak :-( Gray
  25. Ta Nigel...I have just topped up the fuel tank and have now found a leak. Its a long story but I mest up the sender hole so had do rivet (sealed) and bond an Ali plate on. Just topped it right up with gas and now its leaking. Chuffing thing I think a new tank is in order...another £122. My Misses is getting well cheesed off with it. Just a thought on your post...I dont have an oil catch tank. I have just got a oil breather coming from the cam cover. It does "steam" a lot when she's running though. Graham
