The day has arrived, Zoe is off to her rolling road session in the morning. I'm a bit nervous about it as she has only run up and down the drive so not sure if gearbox and diff are all ok.....shale find out tomorrow.
I am going to John Sleaths at Doncaster. Has anyone been there?

Afternoon
I am taking Zoe for a rolling road session in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know a recovery truck hire place around York/Leeds? A Transit one would be good.

Just wanted to let you all know that "Zoe" is now running. It was the spark plugs!!!
I checked for a spark before on number 1 cylinder when she wasn't running and there was a spark so thought she had a spark so that's not the problem, but never checked the other 3.
I checked that this morning and there was no spark from them. Bought some new plugs and there you go...the works.
Thanks to everyone who tried to help me out with it.

Evening Femster
well....I did put 2 gallon in the other day and its not been out the garage, although it has been running before I "fiddled" with it and it is very very rich so you never know.
I will put some more in tomorrow.

I am using the Zetec fuel rail and direct injection with the ford fuel pressure regulator so I dont think theres any probs there. I did take off the return fuel line and it *bleep* out...so recon theres plenty of pressure.
I have got cranking on the ecu, TPS, MAP and MAT all calibrated correctly.
BTW just had a peak at your build pics, you car looks very nice.

Thanks guys for the replies
I am running a Megasquirt ECU with a Innovate LC 1 wideband sensor. I have put spark plug testers on and there is a spark. I have been over the ecu all afternoon checking all the settings and it all looks ok.
It's just turning over as if the coil pack was unplugged.

Afternoon Steve
The plugs are really wet and black!!! I have checked and double checked everything. I thought perhaps the seal on the plenum wasn't great and letting in air but I have put loads of sealant on it.
I have pressure on the fuel return back to tank so not sure what the problem could be.
Are there any local mechanics about?????

Afternoon all
Just about throw in the towel.
I am running a black top Zetec using the existing injectors and GBS rather nice plenum chamber.
I have fuel and a spark but it will not fire....its not even trying to start. I have all the correct fuel pumps and filters. The ecu is correctly configured for that engine too.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Graham
PS. the car was running ok before I put GBS`s plenum on. Cant see how that would be the problem though.

Hope you all had a good Christmas
Has anyone got any ideas how to attach a MAP sensor pipe to the GBS plenum chamber? I have done the MAT to the welded nut on the back of the plenum but unsure about the MAP.
The sensor has a rubber pipe on it. I could drill a hole into it and "glue" the pipe in!!!
Cheers

Afternoon
I have bought GBS new plenum chamber which looks great btw. I am running MAP and MAT sensors. There is a threaded hole for the MAT sensor but nothing for MAP.
Where would be the best plase to put the MAP sensor pipe in the plenum?
Any thought would be appreciated.

Has anyone got a Magasquirt map for Zatec. Finding it hard to tune right. The car is very rich.

As above really, you need the wider calipers to go with the vented discs.
More expence!!!! I think I paid £160 for new vented discs and wider calipers from GBS.

Cheers guys,
Thats a great help, although the I have put a narrowband on it. Thats probably why I cant tune it correctly!!!!

Morning all
Having big problems tuning my Megasquirt ecu. I`m running a narrowband Lambda but thinking maybe wide would be better.
Need some advise please

I think from the upper wishbone end to the centre of the ball joint is 42 mm if that helps?
Thanks for that, it's a big help.

Morning all
Has anyone got a measurement for the front camber on the Zero? The distance in mm from the first thread to the locking nut on the top ball joint. This should give me a rough guide.
Cheers

It depends on how long you are on the rollers I'm told Russ at Torque tune adjacent to GBS is good and fairly priced infact he did a simple power run and timing , carb tweek for 50 notes, aworld ot difference, how much for full set up I don,t know HTH mower man
Cheers for that, I expect it's going to be a bit more then 50 quid. I need a full tune of my Megasquirt ecu.
