Hi there,

 

The rubber covers on my 2B's wishbone suspension and track rod ends are splitting.

 

Does anyone know a supplier of replacements or, alternatively, the original supplier of the track rods and suspension joints to RHE? Someone suggested they were from the Austin Maxi; any one want to comment?

 

Hope there's someone out there with the answer - MoT looms !

Brand new 2B hood, fixings and both hoops which have been powder coated black.

 

The hood is still in the bag as new - never fitted to the car although press studs have been fitted to front rail.

 

Doors not included.

Thanks for posting the info on the forum. I realise now that what I received was not the Regs, it was two sets of the Health & Safety Guidelines - hence no info on time/gate etc. Do I need a copy of the actual Regs? I do have completed entry forms and passenger forms.

No longer needed so have available my 2b wet full wet weather gear ie hood, doors, hoops and brackets and stainless hinges.

 

Hood has not been used much so no tears or cracks. doors have been used but still in fair condition.

 

Can bring along to Newark show for inspection / collection.

Hi I have a BRAND NEW Hood and all fixings (I beleive we will check) Including the 2 x L Brackets and both bars etc... I have the doors too but would not be worried if someone wanted just to replace their aging hood only? The clear areas are immaculate and not at all discoloured or cracked... give me a shout with your requirements and we can see if we can strike a mutual deal!!? Thanks Dave

One pair of 2B rear wings - two part stainless steel and Oxford Blue GRP. Unused, still with protective coating.

These items were formed to shape as an experiment before deciding to go for full GRP wings, so tabs are bent over and some predrilling, but still flexible and usable.

Hi there,

I've just moved my 2B's insurance from Adrian Flux to Highway Insurance via a broker called Youngs in Colchester. Very helpful and saved quite a bit, which meant I could add a third driver.

 

Theyv'e asked me for the usual half dozen photos to back up the agreed value, but they've also sent a form which asks for details of the car's condition and specification. This has to ne completed/countersigned by a 'motor engineer' or the 'club valuation officer'.

 

Does RHOCAR have such a person, or can anyone make a suggestion of how I handle it without having to pay my local 'friendly' garageman some cash?
