    Colour

Yes 2 litres is way more then you need for what you want to do. A paint system like two pack would double you 2 litres upto 4 litres once it has been activated and thinned,(not all in one go or it will go solid after a few hours) but I would not go and use that at home in your garage if I was you. So go for some thing like cellulose with a 1 pack lacquer.

    Which Camshaft

Hi all. Im in the middle of an engine rebuild 2.0L pinto just finished the bottom end and starting on the head. I was just wondering which is the best cam to go for FR31 MILD ROAD or FR32 FAST ROAD. I will be running twin weber 40's and the bottom end is standard (205 block). my current engine in the car has a FR30 in it and seems to lack top end power but that could be down to the engine getting a bit long in the tooth with all the use and abuse it has had over the last ten years, and do I use it. Also is there much difference between Kent cams and piper cams. Thanks Chris

    Lrp Petrol Bye Bye

Yes bye bye LRP :boohoo: only a couple of garages that still sell it in my area that I know of. Thats one of the main reasons for the engine swop (when I finish rebuilding the thing) So I will have to run the current engine on unleaded with an additive when the LRP runs out.

    Mirrors

yes the RH mirrors are SVA complient If you mean the type thats in there catalouge
  8. Hi You could also try a produce called Chemical Metal you mix it in the same way as the Plastic padding one but to me seams a bit more stronger to me. I used it on my rad when the bottom hose tube spit at the joint. Held for years till I swoped it for a Coolmans rad.

    Engine Too High

Hi Steve Just been out in the garage playing about with my engine mounts (open type brachets) like Chris27 said, on my new engine block. you can get into a right old mess with them. Looking at the mounts on the engine in my car they are: 1/ face forward to the front of the car and down. 2/ were it bolts to the block the bracket should face to the rear of the car on both sides of the engine. Mounting elbows inwards if you call them that!!!!!!. Hope this can help you out a bit. Chris
