Hi, just a few bits that may be useful to know before solving my problem

2l Pinto

Stage 3 Head

Twin 45 Dohc Carbs

Lightened Fly wheel

When I bought the car I was informed that it also had a kent cam, My uncle checked the settings and they were incorrect to the Standard settings in the haynes manual. So he set them back

Now I seem to have lost alot of power from before although the fuel economy has improved.

Should the settings be the same with a stage 3 and a different cam? If so how will I know what to set these back too? as I have no details of the cam <_<

Any help / advise will be much apreciated

Steve

tappets should be (haynes -valve tip) 0.25mm exhaust, 0.20mm inlet

I personally use 0.20mm exhaust and 0.15mm inlet, and am using a Kent FR22 cam,

no problems at all :)
