Anyone got a sierra pinto engine mount they can measure up for me?. Just need to know the height without studs

It all depends on which year you mount comes from, as is normal Ford change things over the years.

 

Take a photo then we know which you're on about.

I've seen them in flea bay recently. Either kit car spares or kit car engines.

You need to be aware that during the life of the sierra, Ford made loads of changes, you can't just ask for a particular part without knowing which one it is.

 

Engines, gearboxes, diffs, instruments, switches, alternators, carbs, engine mounts, radiators, wiper motors, brakes shoes, drums, disks,wiring etc etc. loads of changes throughout the lifespan of the sierra build.

Or do you mean the arm from the block to the mount on the cassis plate?

Pictures would be best.

This site is not really photo friendly because of the size required.

Put your photo into photo bucket or similar first as this compresses it and the site will accept it then.

just want how high it sits, without the studs

i know they are taller than say a rover v8 one, and the top stud is much longer

You could always ask the person who is selling that one on eBay if he will help you out and measure it for you. Or you could tell him it's for a project and need to see if it will fit. I've done that in the past but I've usually ended up buying the part!
