So I picked the hottest day of the year so far. So I took the precaution of putting a link on the fan so that it was on whenever the engine was running. Turned out to be a wise precaution as she ran very warm even then.

 

What a worrying time! after the speedo packing up en route to the first test; it did it again before the 2nd test, but this time I managed to get it working. The tester did comment that it was a bit spikey but all the same passed.

 

All the other failure points were fine; so we got a MAC!

 

 

 

 

Then on the drive home at the 1st round a bout the speedo packed up again. I'm beginning to think that there is a dodgy wire somewhere. This could be a right barsteward to find; because each time I touch it, it works again for a short while.
