Hi Peter,

unfortunately Mr Muscle has to go to pay for the running costs of the big 'un.

The blow up last season was a real blow.

It was caused by a mal-adjusted dizzy. The ignition timing was spot on (crank trigger), but the dizzy

managed to fire across cylinders 7 & 5 simultaneously, ie instead of 26 degs BTDC, no 7 fired at 26 + 90 degs BTDC, 116 degs BTDC......the piston objected & went on a meltdown.

So we ran only 4 out of 7 rounds, and still came 9th out of 18 cars, in our first season. Not too shabby IMHO

Next year will be better.....or else I'll sack the driver

BTW we have been asked to demo the car at Arena (Lakeside) mid January .....we will be there if at all possible.

Also it will be driven (on the road!!) to the Detling show in April..possibly demoing a burnout and launch

Hello Bob, showed Rays picures/history to a neighbor, he saw Mr. Muscle at a show at Santa pod in 85 and has a picture somewhere. He has given me another photo of a Topolino, Autocat at Blackbushe 78 which was his brothers, Steve, who used to be a Rhocar member. Good luck with the sale.

Peter
