I found the correct pump diagram in the last section of the full manual that Dan posted.

It's the Digifant pump fitted to the 1.8.

The same as the one in the link Steve posted only they got to hose connections wrong. (yellow and green wrong way around)

You should be able to use your existing carb pump setup as the lifter pump, no mods, should be no problem. Run the return back into the swirl pot or straight back into the return on the tank sender.

Dan, that's what I intend to do, just fit this unit in between my flow and return lines with low and high pressure filters before and after the HP pump .
