The Run Out.

Last year we had an emergency meeting and planned the run in 15 minutes, with a hangover. The downside of this was we had not allowed for so many cars requiring fuel. The only gas station in the area was in Barnard Castle. We probably took half an hour to gas up at least ten Hoods.

 

So this year we all need to fill up at Scotch Corner services on the A1/A66 roundabout on Friday night and I'll make sure there is a gas station at the 50 mile mark. I'll aim for 100 miles round trip again, but I'll make route maps for everyone and issue them on Friday night / Saturday morning. I'll also arrange a good lunch stop at the half way point.
