Stainless Steel Tube

Hi All,

 

Im after a short length of stainless steel tube to use as a fuel return pipe on my RH stainless steel tank.

 

My tank is at the tig welders having baffles and top modified but they don't have any small tube suitable for welding in. Just after something with about a 6mm bore and only about 120mm long.

 

Any idea's or off-cuts in your garages?

rather than weld the pipe in, how about having a boss welded on?

then you can either screw a straight union or a banjo type fitting into the boss

 

makes it easier for changes in design later on

i've got plenty of s/s tube 6mm od. 4 - 5 mm id if that any good or 10mm od. 9mm id if u want it .
