Ball Joint Identification ( Help Needed!)

Hi,

 

I have attached an image of the bottom ball joint from my 2B. It has a wishbone conversion of unknown origin so the joint is different to any other RH I've seen.

 

Its very similar to an Escort / Orion but has a threaded end rather than the pinch bolt type.

 

Your help would be appreciated

cant say for sure but i seem to remember the one on my dads Transit looking similar. Might be worth looking at the transit side of things. I'll stick my head under it tomorrow and see if it has the 2 bolt holes, pretty sure it has a screw thread instead of pinch.hth

Thanks for the replies.

 

The Transit joint has 3 bolt holes, the Escort / Fiesta joint has a pinch bolt rather than a threaded pin, so no joy so far. My local factor has gone through the QH catalog and only the Rover 800 looked likely but they are much smaller. It's probably from something older.
