Well, here we go again.

Your loan RHOCAR Racing member's season has started with the first double header round at Silverstone National circuit.

After last seasons misery of a permanent misfire, this time it went like stink with more to come, but that is down to the driver.

Race One.

Qualified first in class and finished that way with my nearest class rival 35 seconds behind me, I also managed to beat one of the open class cars on the way. :yahoo:

Race Two.

Qualified first in class and finished that way, but the gap to my nearest class rival was 18 seconds this time, and I beat the same open class car. :yahoo:

So, maximum points for me and fastest class lap. :yahoo:

I will make the most of it while I can, the real star in my class blew his hydraulic clutch in qualifying.

Next round is at Snetterton May 25th/26th, if manage to convince my boss to give me the time off. :aggressive:

I had intended to in car film this one, but car prep' overtook everything else.

Wish I had, the first race was really close between me and an open class car in front of me.

He had me in a strait line but would slide wide at copse as I went underneath, beat me down the back strait but I could carry more speed through brooklands, luffield one and two and get him on the entry to woodcote. Then he was charging up the pit strait, and so it went.

He beat me by 2 x 100th of a second.

If I had been a bit neater I would have done him.

having consuted the racing drivers book of explanations (excuses)

1. My tyres went off.

2. My brakes faded

3. Oil

4. Water

5, Fuel

6. Dirt on the track, also see 3,4,and 5

7. And so and so on................................

Will try to get some vid from Snetterton, but every time I have done it in the past I'v had a crap race

New Aeroscreen is the 'dogs bits'

My head is no longer smashed to bits at full beans on the straits, also it was a handy space to put yet more sponsors stickers we were given on the day, not that we saw any money from them <_<
