I may be a bit of a cynic about this but there is 2 points to this all

 

1, Is this penalty to keep the championship close and increasing the spectacle of the sport?

 

2, Max Mosely did not resign when 75% of the World Motor sport Associations (MSA, BRDC, etc) wanted him out for the sex scandal is he going to listen to an on-line petition?

Once again Ferrari show that they will do any-thing to win--on the track--in the pits--in the courts. The Shoemaker said years ago a win is a win--how is soon forgotten by most.

there is a lot of truth to that.

 

TBH I did think at the time he had to give the position up, which he did, but then got it back. does it really matter as Kimi put it in the wall? so Lewis would of been P1 anyway at the end.
