Club Expansion

OK guys Its your club and you can oly get from it what you want if you tell us what that is. Todays outing was as much club as it was venue. At the end of the day you get out what you put in if your area sec dont know you are in the area you wont get told whats going on. if you dont tell them what you want then it wont happen. communication is the key. there are many venues like todays (stondon transport museum) that we could visit as an area joint areas or the whole club. Its up to you guys out there at the end of the day

got to be a good thing ?

re the member profiles , as secs can we have addresses ?

reason is if we have addresses we can visit and introduce ourselves poss do a build day.

sorry to bang on but i do feel this is a positive thing for the club .

Hve to agree with you Graham we have guys on here asking for help but noone knows where they are in the uk or world. If other guys know where you are and they are near to you help is more likley to be offered. Come on guys help your self tell people where you are as specally your area sec's. ( matt how do us dislxics get spell check to work?).

looks like i was posting when phil was .sorry .

we need some co/ordination re the things we do as a club , today was brill .

we got several areas together and had a great time the weather was crap but the company was brill.

we had a good trip to a site and went home .

the experiance wasnt just the drive to and from the venue .

it was thje club membership

ie the guys that went and turned up .

i dont expect every member to attend a meet localy but if you are in the club then surly you should answer e/ mails sent to you .,

and 4 not recieved cos email address were wrong .

Come on guys get of the fence and tell us what you want. For me its more days like today there are loads of transport, car ,train, tram and general engineering/technolgy museums up and down the country that could make great venues for a meet let us know and lets have fun and get together. I can only speek for my self but i think its beter to drive with fellow hoodies than alone. the sight today of several hoods blasting through the country lanes of bedfordshire was great.

few ideas were bandied about as i recall last year

 

couldn't make it to a show in the hood so made some large stickers for the tintop side windows

also as so many of us have rear mounted spares what about a wheel cover as seen on numerous 4x4 vehicles

i would quite willingly have a bumper/window sticker on the tintop to promote the club

 

alas your run out was a tad far for me today

we have a dificult job

as mods we organise visits trips venues .

 

but withought the input of the guys who are rhocar we dont know what to do for the best .

we try to interpret the wishes of the members ?

it ant easy .

you are rhocar

dont forget that you are the members !

please give us your input !if you want to go to a thing or do a thng let us know .

we are not all seeing all doing people .

we can only do what is there to see .

If somebody comes up with a business card design then those that can could get some pre-scored cards and print them off to hand out a meetings / pubs etc.

wheather the hood is in bits or on the road we are as one

it dont matter if its working as a car or not

the thing is the club

the club is the font of all knowledge re the hood be it the s3 s 7 2 b or any other mark

the info is here .

the combined knoweledge of this club is the only way to build a hood

i we,and as some of the mods appeare to want to be more approchable to the the build we are not in anyway

not approachable and if you have a build prrob

then approach one of us .
