Was out in my S7 yesterday and although I believe I already have the long clutch cable and have a heat protective 'sleeve' still find the clutch judders when hot (OK once it cools again). The cable runs above the exhaust manifold down to the front of the engine bay before returning to the clutch lever.

Any further suggestions as to how I can keep the cable cooler?

Is there a better route I can take with the cable?

Cheers

i thought you weren't supposed to oil the cable, oil attracts dirt which scratches the 'self lubricating' nylon coatings in the cable causing it to get worse!

I might add i have the 4x4 cable and it is longer than an andy murray 5 set wimbledon match.
