Exhaust Noise For Iva

does anyone know how to make the exhaust a bit quieter I've got a feeling it might be a bit loud for the IVA

Hi if it's quality you want try MK kit cars good prices and very nice kit I have one of their s/s repackable silencers on my S7 it's brill [no connections they are very local to me] regards mower man

I think an alternative method is to stick some brillo pads in!

on my 2b it failed on the noise test 106db I put 2 s/s scourers up the tail pipe held in with the 3 leg bit that came with the kit to hold them in place (bolt it in place other wise they will blow out), took the db down to 98 on the retest but killed the performance due to back pressure, after the test round the corner pulled them out

i think tricky used to say to retard the engine a little if you still couldn't get it down and then just put it back after the iva. hth

I think Steve Knaggs might have a decebel tester to see if it is too loud before you take it to the test....
