Resizing Pictures

Hi Mat

 

I can't understand it either.

 

I've just copied an image from another thread and saved it on my Hard

Drive and then tried to post it under the test section. Still getting the error message Maybe it's something to do with the way this lap top is set up. I am at a bit of a loss

Is the laptop signed in? What error is it saying exactly?

Below is the content of the error message. By the way it appears on the screen I believe the error message is generated by the Message Board i.e. not XP as it appears in a screen width, two line, table of similar design to the various headings throughout the site/board:

 

THE FOLLOWING ERROR(S) WERE FOUND

You cannot upload this type of file.

 

And yes the laptop is signed in.

just installled my replacement motherboard and successfully uploaded the picture.

Can you upload them to photobucket?

 

If so upload them then cut and paste the img link into your post

Open picture in image preview, click tools then re size. You can then save as to preserve original

For windows xp, may work with vista there is the Microsoft image resizer tool. I don't have vista to test.

Click power tools, then image resizer. It integrates so you can right an image, or groups of images to resize them.
