Probably not a bad price, I managed to get a brand new Ford Pinto cover which was the later one with the all important oil splashback plate under the oil filler cap. It's a nice silver painted finish and I have added a Ford Racing logo to it. (See picture) I got it off ebay from Escort Tec at £25.95

Ian,

Looks a bit pricy I had the air filter cover chromed two weels ago and it cost me £20. But what the hell it looks really good and would be a great addition to the car. What else could you fit with such a 'wow' impact.

Regards

Mark

Hi,

I fitted a burton alloy cover to my pinto which has the added benefit of noise supression. I have a hi-lift cam so the tappet noise is slightly noisier than a standard and the the cover really helps that. They're not cheap but look the dogs in my opinion. There is a pic of it on my garage.

Thanks for the advice so far

The eBay guy will chrome mine for £60 delivered so that will be around £70 I guess including the cost of me posting it to him

I am waiting for the costing for a powder coated finish too which I reckon will be about £30

Rocker covers themselves seem to be about £15 on eBay so I am tempted to bid on the eBay one then try to sell mine on though I am not sure the one on eBay is the right fitting for my Pinto

I will keep you posted

Ian
