From thursday 23rd september Aldi are selling electric welders 55 to 160 amps for £34.99, how do they do it!

They always manage to have great deals most stuff is OK for DIY work. They have never let me down for warranty.

I bought one of these arc welder last year. works well but the only thing I have changed is the Electrode handle for a proper one that holds the rod in place as the rod falls out of the one supplied mid weld.

Also don't bother with the aldi Electrodes they are selling for £3.99 as they are cheap and nasty best to get a decent set of rods.
