Dash Fixing

Hi all

I am thinking of aralditing (?) in some screws and wing nuts.

 

Will this be strong enough? What has everyone else done?

I used black pop rivets on my carbon effect dash. They are visible but don't stand out and i don't tend to notice them anymore.

I think it will fall off.

 

Have a look at my dash, only needs a few domed head bolts to hold in place.

hi,

you could try some of this stuff q-bond

i used it to bond some perspex the other day and it was well strong.

 

alternatively if you know its abs you can buy proper abs glue, plastic water pipe is glued with it so you should be able to get it from a plumbers or toolstation

 

you could then glue L-shaped brackets to the back and screw through the tabs into the chassis tubes behind the dash.

Thanks guys. Think I am goin to go for black counter sunk screws so they sit flush and leave the dash removable in the future.
