Sierra Front Wheel Bearings

just a quick one, searched on google but couldnt find anything

 

are all sierra front wheel bearings the same apart from that on the 4x4 ones?

Hi Steve,

 

I dont know about the bearings its self but when i bought my wheel bearing from ford the grease seal in the kit was the wrong size (to big) when i took it back to ford they were not much use so got my money back and took the grease seal with me to Camberly auto factors and they physically compared this to the one in the box. fitted no problem.

No doubt somebody else will be able to tell you about the bearing

i seem to remember reading that all non 4x4 ones are the same bearing, but i just want to be sure before i buy as im not sure what model my stub axles came off

Fairly sure you are correct in that non 4x4 brgs are the same, They may be ALL the same but with different seals but don't quote me on that mower man

just remember to buy a left and a righthand set as the threads are not the same.

i'll get some ordered and see how it pans out then. if the seals are wrong im pretty sure ill be able to get the right ones reasonably cheaply!
