Tax And Insurance Help

if you haven't built it yet i think you can just get build up insurance. which should be cheaper as you aren't on the road and they are just covering you mainly for it being nicked or your garage burning down.

I use osbourne and sons who are reasonable and i actually get to talk to a real person who goes and gets my file from the filing cabinet, haven't claimed so don't know how good that part is.

I pay £190 on 5000 fully comp 30yr old.

edit - thinking about it you don't have a number plate yet as you haven't done IVA yet. I don't think insurance companies like just having it on a chassis number for long so you may find you have to just have build up cover. assuming you want insurance. I built mine in my garage with no insurance only household, then insured to go to SVA.
