Halfords Mot

Just got an e mail from Halfords reminding me my MOT is due, I've never had an MOT there so presumably they are raiding the DVLA database! what happened to data privacy?

Dvla don't hold mot information, it use to be Siemens which has now changed, the mot system uses a reg check system provided by dvla, if any major changes are made to a vehicles details the dvla are informed by computer who then contact the owner. Have you used an aa garage, or a national tyres centre or numerous other national service centres that halfords have recently bought out?

my mot center dont send reminders or anything but when i ring them last min in a panic because i forget my mot was due they always fit me in cheers mark b see you tomorrow @ 8:30am

Not me but I wonder if the previous owner had? Problem is it doesn't say what the car is and I now have 3 to MOT in March including the Hood!
