How do you cover coilspring adjuster nuts for IVA? Also i would appreciate any photos of IVA trim, especially on front suspension. I will take some spare trim to the test.

I used a nut cover from Tifosi the smooth tapered ones that go on when warm cut down to cover the adjuster.

 

It went with the covers on but came back without!

Thinking about it again the coil over is within the exempt area specified in the manual (extract below).

 

So that's why my nut cover was not there.

 

I was referring to the damper setting knob not the adjuster nut ..... doh.

i was pretty sure that anything inside the wishbone area was exempt.

I used a piece of tubular foam cut from the Sierra door-shuts. Just cover the nut-like pieces,or use self-amalgamating tape.

The smaller tifosi nut cover hole drilled in the top cut on one side and super glued pm me your address ill send you some.

The pipe that goes through the side of the car will be exempt as the test piece (the dome of Doom) will prove that the nut edges cannot be reached.

 

(Try an old tennis ball and see if any part of it can touch the nuts. You'll find it can't - hence exempt. The same applies to the exhaust hole where the pipes come out. I didn't have trim on either of those parts and it passed.)
