Rolling Road Result

Took my car to BTEC Racing in Shipton Under Wychwood today as I had no idea what the engine figures were. I knew that GBS have a specific map to get the car through IVA and I assumed that this was what I still had installed.

 

I have a 2.0 Zetec fitted with the GBS plenum chamber. The results are:

 

Max power - wheels 127.3 bhp @ 6182 rpm

Max power - engine 167.7 bhp @ 6182 rpm

Max torque - 146.4 lbft @ 5319 rpm

 

Got to say that I am very happy with that result from a standard engine.

It is one of the new crate engines GBS sell, Rob.

don't think GBS let the emission map out on the road, mine has some statement about " do not drive, not for road use" on the details tab.

 

I'm told standard power map gave 169bhp when tested at emerald, but It was stressed that this will vary slightly from car to car, and day to day, so pretty dam close.

That makes sense. I was certainly very happy with the result.
