Iva/sva Test

I hope so Ken! Mines exactly the same and I don't have any plans to change it unless some hugely cheap rear coilovers come along.

There are loads of 2B's out there with this rear setup and I can't see anything obvious in the IVA manual to suggest it might be a failure point these days?

On mine though - the springs are loose unless you set the rear suspension a little higher than ideal. Is yours the same?

Cheers

Hi Tony the rear suspension was already fitted to the car before I got it, there is no movement in the springs and it is all secure. The clearance between the ground and sump is 4 inches 100 mm and the clearance between lowest part of the rear cross member is 5 inches 130 mm. The rear suspension is well clear of the driveshaft.

Hi Ken, the height given for the sliding pillar was 7" from ground to side of the body just in front of the rear wing.

This does leave a big gap above the wheel, but it is right & they are all the same.

The Sierra spring & shockers are perfectly good, but the adjustment was a bit heath robinson. A tube fitted inside the

rear rollover hoop and had a bolt through it all. Set it a bit high at first..it will settle over time.

Good luck with it
