I was looking at fitting a 36 webber to my 2 litre pinto engine but i wondered if i needed to change my ECU to accomadate for this as the standard intake has alot of sensors on it? I dont know a huge amount about engines and was just thinking this would just be a bolt on conversion.

At the moment it's a fully standard set up ford ecu and standard ford air intake and fuel injection system I can take pics or engine and the webber and out them on later if required?

it will run on the old ecu but will be a bit flat, when i changed to bike carbs from efi i used it for a while but the car lacked any real midrange, swapped to a standalone ignition system and it flew. accuspark do a cheap standalone system for approx £100. For full members that price gets a good discount availble in the members benefit section on here.
