Inertia Fuel Cut Off Wireing

Have just got a land rover inertia switch as I have changed to electric pump. Can anyone tell me how to wire it in please ?

It has three small spade terminals. Thanks in advance.

Its just an on off switch so only needs splicing in to fuel

pump feed / earth. Check which terminal brake continuity when you give it a good bash and resets when resets.

As Steve said, it's just a change-over switch , have you got the right size spades Dave, close by if help needed.

That's what I thought, but puzzled by the three connections. Will check for spade terminals at work tomorrow thanks Bob & Steve

Where is the best place to mount one of these switches?

To a substantial bit of the car but also easy to get at as a pot hole in our great roads could trip it.

Got a mondeo one from ebay. As already said its just a switch with the outside terminals being the ones completing the circuit until impact. The middle teminal then becomes live and is for a warning light to indicate that the switch has been tripped I presume.
