I'm beginning to look more at making the car stand out a bit and more pleasing to the eye (basically the aluminium has become too much to try keep clean) so I am looking at painting the bonnet and scuttle as a start. What colours do you think would work well with the car as I am currently unsure exactly what route I want to take and don't want to spend several attempts finding something I like. Thinking silver - keeps the look but easier to maintain. Orange/black (but is that too much orange/black), or maybe even a white? Any ideas welcome.

Secondly, similar to the outside, I want to do something to the interior too and make it a nicer place to be visually, the aluminium has since become a bore....thinking more along the lines of the transmission tunnel to begin with, possibly wrapping the panels, however, would an orange tunnel top and tunnel sides (maybe black sides) possibly be too much orange?

Thanks for the colour changer. That's tonight's entertainment sorted!

I did think white, obviously the side and rears will probably be left a while until suitable garage space is found to set the car up in as its currently kept outside under a cover. The bonnet and scuttle can be easily removed and potentially left if push came to shove (its my only car now). White/silver wouldn't be a radical change.

Beginning to think about a light blue, possibly on the interior too...

for the interior are you any good with a sewing machine? cover in sponge then cut 3inch strips of vinyl and sew so you get soething like the rear bit on here

but if you do that all the way down the tunnel it would look cool. and for one of the strips swap black for the body colour.
