I have purchased a new cylinder head for my van well supposed to be new off flebay it was advertised as brand new but there is a hint of carbon deposite on one of exhaust ports explanation from seller is they brought a batch of complete engines from reneualt and it may have been test fired but it looks to me that the head has been skimmed and marks on the valves makes me think it has been skimmed with valves in place its not a very good picture but is this how engines are made now
