I am really struggling to find an air filter for mine its a 1800 pinto with the pierburg carb any help lads cheers

Which Pierburg is it, there seems to be a few on Ebay?

The most honest answer to your probs is throw the peirburg in the skip and fit a weber , ford sacked them after many probs on a very short production run , not just on that engine but across the ford range must have been an expensive mistake! mick

+1. They really were a load of carp. Pleanty of down draught twin chokes on the old flea bay.

Yeah that is the plan but at no due to just buying it and low funds due to not working as having chemo just got to spend wot I have to to get on rd and mpt insurance tax and electrics prob will sap money and carb working OK at no so anything cheap as poss lol

In the same position got a pier burg carb does the weber go onto the same manifold not that I can afford it yet regards Ian
