There was a guy on Lococt Benny 21 brand new engine £800 no vat that was on 13 03 2015,Don't know if he still has them.

The same thing has been asked on either here or wscc in this last couple of days but I can't find it, I'm sure one of the kit part suppliers are doing crate engines for £750. I'll keep looking for it.

Found it, Race line cheapest 650 + vat plus they do loads of other stuff like shortened sump etc

Does all sorts of engine stuff a wizard with carbs as well he buys engines direct from ford and he is not VAT registered so that is a 20% saving

Just been quoted £75 for crank regrind, shells are £30 a set head skim £35. Far cheaper than i was expecting so ii.m going with that option as the new ones are more expensive than i was expecting
