Anyone on here got and can stainless weld an easy crack on top strip where side of engine meets stuttle about an inch

how thick is the metal. only got stick welder. to thin and it will burn throw.

Jaimo, I had the same issue with my S7. Rip in both sides of the floor just before the bulkhead. Happened shortly after I put a zetec in.

Got it welded with a mild steel welder, 6000 miles later, still OK
