The drone failure won't have been uplink, but rather more like the on board gyroscopic accelerometer having a glitch / loose wire making it think it was on its side when it actually wasn't

 

I was watching it when it suddenly took off out of sight.

Might be a good investment for the club, would be sure to generate interest and enthusiasm with the dramatic pictures it would provide .... show them, and video footage?? on facebook ...
