Steve (in Stockport) mentioned Wynns Black Gasket maker a short while back.

I got some from ECP & its solved my 9 year leak saga from the sump on my Redtop.

Not cheap, but it doesnt seem to dry up in the nozzle either, so probably a long shelf life.

Sorry to be a pain does anybody have any ideas on the torque wrench setting for fitting the water pump?

Pinto M8 bolt 13-14 lbs ft

Pinto M10 26-31 lbs ft

 

CVH 6-8 ins ft

CVH (R6A type) 6-9 lbs ft

 

DOHC 15-21 lbs ft

All back together. Filled up, got rid of bubbles then took it for a spin. So far so good and no drips. Praying for no puddle in the morning. Thanks for your help again.
