4.5 Gallon Fuel Tank

I glued (araldite) a baffle round the pickup in my tank.

Roughed up the surface with 30 grit to let the glue bind.

Baffel is U shaped with the top pointing left and stopping approx 10mm from the left side of the tank.

Pickup (and guage sender) near left hand end, filler near right end.

Had sierra filler pipe into tank as designed by robin hood, filler stuck 2+inches into tank so the top 2+inches unuseable.

Drilled a couple of 12mm holes in the filler pipe just into the tank and now can fully fill.

Guage goes up and down a bit on long corners but I just ignore that.

Fuel pick up is at end of tank old sierra sender unit for now will keep filling up whe gets near qaurter full

Yep same as mine I just dropped the sender out and extended the pick-up pipe to the middle of the tank.
