I think my tester does what he is supposed to, everything else of ours that he has tested before has had an emissions test. When a tester sees the q plate he knows that he is unable to pinpoint the year of manufacture so can't really apply any year related tests. I suppose that is a bit easier for him though.

I've just got a cheap digital camera from years ago and ive got a wall mount for it in the garage to keep the same position and then I will just create the time lapse from the seperate images :)

 

By my maths, if you want a 5 minute film at the end (at 25fps) and assuming 200 hours build time, i make that you'll need to take one pic every 2 minutes or so - is that right?

 

If so, that will be tricky to remember to do...
