Average Miles Per Tank

Mine takes about 20quid to fill up on a long run to hollowell last year did about 130 to tank but always keep quarter in min as same pick up trouble as mentioned

If I get less than 200 miles I get depressed and thats a 4L V8!

 

But then it is a 50 L tank and my right foot is too heavy to hold up all the time!

40 litre gets me around 250 miles.

I have a 2.0 pinto with bike carbs. My tank is 20 litres but can get a bit more if a fill to the filler neck. Normally get between 80-100 miles depending how much fun I am having!

Ran out of fuel to-day on the run back from Nick Mason's. Fortune smiled on us as Mo only had to push Florin about 10M into the Mobil garage in Devizes.

 

22 litres to brim the tank so we are getting about 9miles/litre Measurement of the tank gives a volume of 1 cu.foot = 6.25gall = 28 litre so presume rest is air-space which can't be filled & fuel not picked up by pump.
