2B / Type 9 Gearbox Mount

Should there be a mount on the type 9 gearbox to the 2b chassis?

 

Not sure if mine has one. When I removed the engine the gearbox dropped down at the front and I was able to lift the bellhousing end up and down.

 

There are 2 bolt holes next to where the speedo cable fits. Should there be a mount here?

It sits in its mount right near the back of the box....

The mount is bolted/welded to the chassis

the mount is held to the gearbox with one bolt and to the chassis by four bolts

this wot you should have although mine has four bolt holes

Once the engine is unbolted from the gearbox it does feel like the mount is very weak, I thought this and bought a new mount only to find it felt the same, once all bolted together the engine mounts and gearbox mount work together
