My 2b has an angle bar welded underneath coming out off the side. I think welded to the rear belt mounts or around there somewhere.

This is strong enough to take the weight of a large silencer.

As Mower Man rightly sugested bobbin mounts are designed to take the weight in compression, not on stretching.

The flex is a must if you both want to get rid of some nois and vibration out of the cabin.

This also stops the pipe and silencer splitting.

Good heavyweight bobbins are from Land Rover engine mounts.

Support the exhaust from underneath to eliminate any twisting forces and use a flexi between manifold and can. On the EXMO I have used a bit of stainless bar bolted on to the floor and shaped so that there is space for a bobbin to mount the exhaust to.

I thought of using an angle off the chassis floor

Then a bobbin on top...but how do I get the can on the bobbin.it's too big to get a strap for it..unless I go off the tail pipe .

It's never been on a flexible joint in the last 10years no issues.

On my zero the exhaust bracket was mounted on the floor, and held a bobbin that the back of mounted on, I had to weld an L shaped bracket onto the backbox to allow the bobbin to bolt through
