Superspec Oil

Hi guys what oil do you use for the superspec as about to replace the oil. Also what model no for the filter is needed

10/40 semi-synthetic has been recommended before on the forum. Can't help on the filter, I have a remote one fitted which is probably different.

As Al says, 10/40 semi-synthetic is recommended for the Rover engine. I use Halfords brand.

 

My oil filter is a Crosland L10288PS from Eurocarparts (p/n 501750018) but there are many equivalents. My notes say it's 76mm diameter, 13/16 UN thread and 85mm high. Any taller and the filter will hang below the sump.
