Steering Column Problem

fitted my steering column on 2b04 had got it going between brake and clutch pedal have now found it gets in the way of alternator, moved it over the other side and now the break pedal is in the way , have i got to alter brake pedal to sort this or is there some thing else that can be done.

When you have lifted the alternator you will have to modify the ajustment

bracket. by mounting it from the thermostat housing, but firstly make a cut

on the underside and then bend it so it looks like boomerang,weld up the V

you have made and you have proper full ajustment on the belt.

here's my effort. flat plate, with a tube welded on. Could even use the original tube from the original bracket. Would need a bit of plate though.
