Ok so looking at threads my 3a chassis having cracks in the weld is a pretty common occurrence, I have just noticed these on both sides my question is it just a case of running a new weld down and keep an eye on it or is there a tried and tested way to strengthen up and prevent further failure?

I had this done to mine after 29,000 miles, re-welded and a patch on the top, has been OK for 9 years and a further 9000 miles.
