If its the stainless steel type that is used to hold the vinyl doors on, no problems, make some.

 

BQ for the stainless bar, they sell it on 1 metre length for 2.99 and an odd bit of stailess offcut which you must have around, Ive made several sets now for perspex and vinyl windscreens.

 

Cut a bit of stainless sheet, put a 90 degree fold on it , trap the bar and the stailess sheet in the vice and form the barrel of th hinge. Do the same with another piece of stailess, this time do not make the barrel as tight so the pin will swival in it, job done.

 

Its not difficult.
